Preliminary Matters:

In addition to advertising, we solicited bids from Freedom Waste Service, Red River Waste Solutions, and Republic Services for the purchase of waste disposal services for the System for the 2015 – 2016 school year. Bid specifications are attached. We received bids from Freedom Waste Service- $3515.96, Red River Waste Solutions- $2544.60, and Republic Services- $2128.93 for the purchase of waste disposal services.

Staff Recommendation:

I recommend approval of the bid submitted by Republic Services in the amount of $2,128.93/month for the purchase of waste disposal services.
